Tamannaah is in great demand these days. After two back to back super hit films- Padikkathavan and Ayan, everybody wants a slice of this Sindhi girl.
The latest news is that she has been signed up, to be Ravi’s heroine in the remake of Kick from Telugu. The first choice was Ileana who did the original but the actress could not dole out immediate dates.
As director M.Raja is starting the film in August, they wanted dates on priority and Tamannaah who is the flavour of the season stepped in to give Tatkal dates, at a very high salary
It is for the first time that director M.Raja was not able to get the actress who did the original in Telugu. Remember that all his remakes like Jayam, M.Kumaran S/o Mahalakshmi, Something Something Unakkum Enakkum, Santhosh Subramaniam had Sada, Asin, Trisha and Genelia who did the original.
