Noted Malayalam lyricist and music composer Kaithapram Damodaran Namboothiri’s debut Malayalam directorial venture Mazhavillinattamvare, starring India’s World Cup heroes Syed Kirmani, Kapil Dev and Roger Binny, is progressing in Kannur and Thalassery Cricket Stadia and surrounding areas, said Kaithapram’s son and the film’s music composer Deepankuran. The shooting will continue up to February 3.
Pakistan cricketer Abbas Musthafa plays the lead character of the film set in a cricket coaching camp, while Syed Kirmani plays the role of a coach for Muthuappan Kadavu Cricket Academy. Kapil Dev and Roger Binny would join the sets in the coming days. The film also stars Archana Kavi, Krishna, Nedumudi Venu, Sai Kumar and Kaviyoor Ponnama.
