Apple’s been at the top of the smartphone game for years, and it’s had no shortage of imitators.
But the new Lenovo S90 Sisley’s iPhone 6 imitation is particularly blatant, especially for a new phone from a major device maker, as Gizmobic points out.
The Lenovo Sisley S90 boasts of a 5-inch AMOLED HD screen and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 410 chipset. The quad-core CPU is clocked at 1.2 GHz and is accompanied by 1GB of RAM. The phone offers 16GB internal storage, and uses a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front facing camera. The sleek looking phone has dual-SIM capabilities, NFC and packs a 2300mAh battery.
Gizmobic reported that even the webpage set up for the Sisley S90 looks like a blatant copy of the iPhone 6’s webpage. The phone is only available in China as of now and may or may not see a global launch but it does beg the question, when will this obsession with copying Apple end?
