KO, the biggest ever opening in 2011

KO hits the hill of gold and has been declared as super hit by the trade analyst in the industry.

KO features Jeeva, Karthika, Piaa Bajpai and Ajmal in the lead roles directed by KV Anand. The film opened with surprising box office collections and has received positive reviews from the film buffs. In fact the film has made astonishing trade by collecting whopping Rs 4.65 Crore during the Easter weekend (April 22 to 24). KO made a mark by having the biggest ever opening for a Tamil film in 2011. The film has done good business in overseas and Kerala market where Jeeva’s film does not do so well usually.

KO had a grand opening weekend in U.S.A. and U.K, the film collected £ 32,328 (nearly. Rs. 23.68 lacs) in UK. Many screens owners in Tamilnadu are refusing to feature other new films as KO is making good amount collections wise.

Red Giants the distributors of KO in Tamilnadu have increased the number of screens by 8 from coming Friday and also with addition 15 more prints. The film is going to release in Telugu as Rangam on May 6th.
