Huma Qureshi a young theatre actor from Delhi and a model has managed to become Ajith’s heroine in Billa 2 directed by Chakri Toleti.
Huma made waves in the ad and modelling world doing television commercials
like Samsung Guru Mobile with Aamir Khan and Nerolac Paints with Shah
Rukh Khan. She has also done campaigns for other leading brands like
Idea, Pears Soap, Maderma, Bajaj Discover Motorbike, Parle Monaco and
LG Washing Machine.
Huma has also worked with several theatre directors like Aamir Raza
Husain, Sohaila Kapur, Rahul Pulkeshi and NK Sharma of Act One Group.
She has been awarded the most promising theatre talent by Indian
Habitat Centre. Huma is now debuting in Bollywood with Anurag
Kashyap’s Gangs of Wasseypur, the remake of Sasikumar’s
Subramaniapuram.
Huma Qureshi comments, “I am delighted to be a part of the legendary
BILLA franchise and feel fortunate to debut in the Tamil film industry
and get to play a character like this so early in my career. I was
bowled over by the role narrated to me for Billa 2 and looking forward
to meeting Ajith sir.”

with the director, we have formalized Huma Qureshi as the lead actress
for the Film. The lead girl in Billa 2 has a strong, pivotal role. We
