‘Dabangg’ clears Censor without any cuts

The members of Censor Board found nothing objectionable in Dabangg, much to the relief of the makers of the film. If producer Arbaaz Khan is pleased, the star of the film Salman Khan is happy.

The Censor board has given U/A certificate to Dabangg without deleting any of the gruesome action scenes or raising eyebrows on the bold and crude dialogues. Director Abhinav Kashyap and Arbaaz Khan were worried that the censor board might object to some action scenes. Now, the family audience (kids accompanied by parents) can watch the film.

Dabangg is set in Laalgurj, Uttar Pradesh where lives the inspector Chulbul Pandey, played by Salman, who is a fearless but corrupt policeman. The movie is also the launch pad for Shatrughan Sinha’s daughter Sonakshi Sinha who plays the main lead opposite Sallu.

The movie will hit the theatres on September 10.
