Yes, you read it right. It is one of the unusual pair that one can expect on screen but soon they are going to be seen together in a film directed by Sachin Kundalkar. Sachin has made three Marathi films and won two national awards. Bringing the duo of south sensation Prithviraj and the queen of Bollywood Rani Mukherjee together is none other than acclaimed filmmaker Anurag Kashyap who’ll be producing it. “Rani who off late is associated with realistic cinema [remember No One Killed Jessica] liked the script and immediately said yes to the project whereas Anurag was bowled over by the looks and acting credentials of Prithviraj hence roping him in”, said a source. Mind you Prithviraj played the role of Vikram in Tamil version of Raavan and received accolades for his performance. This untitled film will go on floors from this September. This is the second film that Rani signed this year after Aamir Khan’s untitled project with Reema Kagti.
